The SUNPOCKET STORY starts in France in the late 1970 ́s / early 1980 ́s. The SUNPOCKET brand is and has always been strongly associated with the joyful and colourful era of the 1980 ́s. The SUNPOCKET shades with their “all weather” lenses (darker lower parts to protect from reflections of snow/water, and upper to protect from the sun) were originally made for summer / winter sports and leisure. SUNPOCKET are therefore the perfect brand for us. SUNPOCKET combines everything we stand fore, creativity, joyfulness, quality and tradition. With a pair of SUNPOCKET you can always be sure to have the coolest glasses, no matter where you are. The colourful foldable SUNPOCKET shades with their mirror shaded glass introduced a combination of funkiness, functionality, and rock ́n roll into the 80 ́s eyewear fashion scene.The plan to re-launch the sleeping SUNPOCKET brand occurred in 2009 when a pair of SUNPOCKET originals was found in a cottage in Trysil, a Norwegian ski resort. The SUNPOCKET soul has been resting for 30 years. Now, it’s time to bring back the joy and rock ́n roll of the 80 ́s. SUNPOCKET’s design is unique and their shades look like no one elses.
