You can choose how to wear it, with or without the removable waistband. VPD (visco-elastic-polymer-dough) has amazing energyabsorbing properties. The material is extremely agile and soft but as energy or force is applied, the material stiffens and becomes rock hard. The back protector is inserted in a washable vest and easily removable.
